		<title>XSS bug in PEAR::Text_Wiki 1.1.0</title>
		<link>http://www.awf-cms.org/news/pear_text_wiki_xss_bug.html</link>

		<guid>http://www.awf-cms.org/news/pear_text_wiki_xss_bug.html</guid>
<description> This bug was found and reported by Michael Mayer ( Liquid Bytes ) on Jun 9, 2006.

  Description
The raw markup rule of PEAR::Text_Wiki (release 1.1.0) is a very simple way to inject any JavaScript or other possibly malicious code into a Wiki page (even if the html markup rule is disabled!). This is known as cross-site scripting (XSS).

  Example
See the Heise Security Forum (German) . You can test it in the YaWiki Sandbox .

  Solution
Upgrade to the next stable release. This bug has been fixed in CVS.

<description> The new documentation wiki is online now and needs your attention.

Please help with transferring the contents from the old MediaWiki site . It will be disabled next month because it is full of spam.

Please note: As we don&#039;t use MediaWiki anymore, the Wiki syntax changed a
bit (though the MediaWiki syntax still works in most cases).

Here you can find more information about the Wiki syntax used in AWF:

  http://www.awf-cms.org/wiki/Editing+Help.html

To prevent spam, you have to be logged in to edit and create pages.
Sorry for this inconvenience!

<description> Thanks to our feature request, Bertrand Gugger started to develop a MediaWiki parser for Text_Wiki! AWF will use that instead of the current built-in parser.

 Links:

      http://pear.php.net/package/Text_Wiki_Mediawiki
      http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=6123

As Text_Wiki also supports BBCode, Tiki and CoWiki syntax, AWF can offer four different input syntax styles from which you can choose :)

<description> OpenSourceCMS.com decided not to list AWF yet, as it requires PHP &amp;gt;= 5.0.3. This is bad news, but we hope they will feature it at a later time, when they managed to update their PHP installation ;)

<description> Today, AWF-CMS.org got an improved layout and new features from the current AWF 2.10 beta. They include an updated lexicon, a glossary, an image browser, publications and license management. Links to the print and PDF version were added at the bottom of each page. The screenshots were updated. You can add comments to selected pages now. Next step is to integrate a Wiki directly into AWF so that we can replace the MediaWiki installation at manual.awf-cms.org.
