Document Options
- Published: Must be enabled, if the document shall be viewable by normal users (without editor rights).
- Document Type: With this dropdown box, the type of the document is specified. Normally it makes no sense to modify the document type afterwards. It can break your site - so be careful!
- Website: Allows you to move this document to another site (Parent ID should be set to 0, before you change the site). It can break your site - so be careful!
- Refresh: Set a refresh time for this document. Useful if the content updates frequently.
- Short Name: The short name is the unique name of your document - two documents can't have the same short name. It will be used in the URL as "file name". Special characters are not allowed.
- Parent ID: Contains the ID of the parent document (the ID can be seen, if you put your mouse over a document on the left hand side). Use 0 if your document has no parent.
- Sort Order: The order, in which the document is displayed in lists, e.g. in the navigation. The smaller the number, the higher the position.
- Description: The description field contains an optional description which will be used in HTML meta tags.
- Keywords: Here you can specify some comma-separated keywords for meta tags. Meta Tags are used by search engines like Google and can improve your listing position.
- Redirect URL: AWF can redirect the user's browser to this URL. It is useful, if the document has moved.
- Release Date/Expiration Date: Let's you select the time span in which the document should be online.
- Navigation Item: Enable this checkbox to show a document's title in the navigation.
- Include in search results: If deactivated, the document will not be listed by the built-in search feature.
- Allow caching of the document: In cases, where caching of a document makes no sense (e.g. interactive/dynamic content), this option should be deactivated.
- Hide left/right column: The effect depends on your template. Normally, the blocks on the left/right hand side will be hidden.
- Hide website: Show the document only, without header, footer and blocks. Also depends on the support of your template. Useful if you want to display the content in a small popup window.
