RSS

Import

You can import RSS newsfeeds using the newsticker.inc block module. Please use the content field in the edit popup for the feed URL. The feed will be cached in cache/remote/ to improve performance. Make sure, your webserver has write permissions for this directory!

The next step is to write an RSS ContentContainer which allows the use of Shortcuts to include newsfeeds, e.g. [[news:www.name.com/news.rss]]. One of the next releases will include it.

Export

RSS feeds can be exported by changing the URL extension to .rss instead of .html. Only content containers like news or weblog can provide RSS feeds. Example:
